I would retest him in a year at his annual exam,
just because you'll already be there, and it can't hurt anything, and it may
help ease your mind. I wouldn't do it any time soon, or make a special trip to
do it, as really, what difference will it make? The important thing is that he
is doing good, and not having any problems. If he gets sick, and you have to
take him in, you could always retest then, but hopefully, your next vet visit
will be a year from now for a routine physical!
