Good point. I have no idea. But I found a wonderful forum for questions like that with a lot of builders on it that I've been posting on for ideas for cat proofing my house.

Jenn,I don't have a drain but this sounds do-able. It will be a MAJOR project. The room has cheap wood paneling on the lower half now which has absorbed the pee and I plan to replace that with the shower paneling which can be wiped off. Last time at the grocery when I picked up three gallon jugs of vinegar, other people may have thought I was preparing for pickles ... between the cats and MIL's laundry, lots of pee here!Del
