Hi
Just curious if anyone had any experience with Cephalosporin? My vet just prescribed it for my little Ollie, but I didnt remember seeing anything about it on this board. Ollie has a pesky sneeze and cough that he just cant get rid of. If he is on antibiotics, he is fine, but 2 or 3 missed doses and he is back at it. We were using Clavomax for a while and it worked, but then he stopped responding as well to that. The Cephalosporin seems to be doing well and it only 1 does per day as opposed to 2 like the Clavomax, which makes both me and Ollie very happy.
Like I said, just wondering if anyone else had any luck with it. I assume that it is a mild antibiotic as my vet said that he would like to save the big guns for Ollie in case he needed them sometime down the road.
Ollie will be 1 on Wednesday, we are all so happy! We lost his sister Roxie a couple of months ago and we are still adjusting. She left such a big hole in our family. Ollie is the last one left in his litter, so this 1st birthday is very exciting!!
