That poor lady... I feel so bad for her. Hopefully, he WILL find his way back home. Even never having been outside, most cats DO somehow know how to find their way back. Make sure she is outside calling him regularly, cats have great hearing from long distances, he might be searching for home, and hear her. She also needs to continue to go to every animal shelter every day until he is found, going once and leaving his description is NOT good enough. Most city workers do NOT really care enough to try to memorize each missing cat's description. Make sure she has flyers posted at EVERY vet's office within 20 miles also.
