I'm so sorry to hear about sweet Butternut
passing.
I have a real fondness for orange kitties (my
Moogie was orange), and his name is just AWESOME!
I've heard of lots of Pumpkins, but he is the
first Butternut I ever knew. I guess that just goes to show, there's more than
one gourd on the list of possible orange kitty names!
