put a drop or two on his ears/temples - it will absorb transdermally. it doesn't work with all animals, but if it does work, it's lovely. It worked like a charm on Ninja and I could dump an entire bottle down Bandit's throat and nada..... and you can try that tonight to see if it helps

See if you can find some Feliway spray--not the plug in--and spray it around
where he is and on yourself. It will help calm him. You also might try
catnip (organic or a plant if you can find it). I have used both with
frightened, angry, upset cats successfully.
