I am in Washington Borough, Warren County (Southwest of Hackettstown) and I absolutely adore my vet: Dr. G (Grodkewicz sp?) at Washington Animal Hospital on Route 31.
I would never take a leukemia positive to the "other guy" (and I'm not really sure he's still there) but Dr. G is so wonderful with my furkids!
I have also had very good experiences with the emergency vet in Newton on Route 206.  I've only used their emergency services not their regular vet, but I would imagine they are an option as well.

Hi Michelle,
Welcome to Mew Jersey!!
Just for your records, in case you ever need a second opinion, the vet I
use is at Fredon Animal Hospital (973) 383-0811 - her name is Linda Grau.
Fredon is about 10 miles north of you (up Rt 206, then over to Rt 94) in
Sussex Co, but she's great with my cats - even the ferals.
