I second that. I have seen acupuncture do amazing things.  The vet acupuncturist who does acupuncture on our sheep, Lamby, said he did acupuncture on a dog that seemed paralyzed from an attack injury and the conventional vets had given up, and the dog was walking around after 3 acupuncture treatments.  Worth a try!
