Dear Michelle,

I am so very sorry for your loss.  It sounds as though Gemma had a very peaceful passing with you right beside her.  She certainly overcame many health issues to stay with you as long as she possibly could.  A photo urn for
her ashes sounds lovely.  How lucky you were to have each other for the years you did; still, it's never, ever enough.  I hope your many wonderful memories will comfort you and the knowledge that we are all thinking of you and sending warm hugs.

Love, Julie

My darling Gemma has gone to the bridge. I asked her brother to come and get her and told Gemma to go to go to sleep and find her brother. I told her not to chase Tidge and Bramble around too much.

We had her put to sleep in the car as I lay at the side of her. I have selected a photo casket for her ashes and will collect her in the morning and take her to the pet crematorium.
