We had a problem with the kitten at work, he became neurologic and then started seizuring, unfortunately we feel we had to euthanize him. The IFA test results came back positive (while our guts told us it would be positive we still held on to the hope of a negative result) and the toxo results are still pending although it really doesn't matter now. Such a sad day for us all - he was such a sweet boy - a great moral booster at work. We had kittens (that we were able to find homes for) at work before but not one came close to the personality this one had. I want to thank you for your help and information you sent me. You have a great love for these fine friends. I've learned from past experience that placing kittens is hard in itself since there usually are so many and I knew that placing a "sick" one wouldn't be easy but didn't think it would be as difficult as it turned out to be - you had the best leads. I too had cats that were FeLV + many years ago (gosh now that I think of it about 25 years ago) - 1 got sick at 2yrs and the other 2 lived to be 9 and 13 before I had to put them down so I know exactly how great and special they are. ...
