Dear Patti I'm so, so sorry you're going through this misery. There's nothing I can add to all the fantastic feedback you've already had from everyone except to say I agree with it all! There's no way "guilty" should be in your vocabulary; and I think there's a good chance Charity will be back with you. I think Hideyo's ideas are excellent ones. It is SO good that you can tell she already has come home to eat. She certainly was not "playing"you...she bolted because she doesn't like being confined to the crate; she naturally wanted her freedom back. So she took her chance when she got it. I'm sending zillions of "homing" vibes, and creatively visualizing as hard as I can. Keep doing what you're doing. And we're all here for you whenever you need us--you know that.
