One more thing ~~~ It's only 6:15 AM here in the soggy, pouring down rain, edge of a good 'ole N'easter hitting us FULL BLAST, BUT........   Just heard from one of my very best friends here with whom I network & do rescue with, and she's been  busy during the last 24 hours, getting in touch w/ "her" contacts, and has managed to "borrow" some 1/2 dozen or so "Hav-A-Heart" Traps, and since the weather is soooo.... rotten, and this area is rural w/ LOTS of ground to cover, she has assembled a group of volunteers to "set" the traps at first light & also has rounded up some other wonderful volunteers, not concerned about getting "soaked to the bone", so hopefully we can canvas a large area, searching, providing make-shift shelters w/ tarps, leaving food & doing the "Hansel & Gretel" thing...leaving a trail back to "Home", mine!!!   PLEASE, keep this wonderful group of volunteers in your prayers, wish us LUCK & PRAY NO ONE CATCHES PNEUMONIA!!!!   Also, the little Mom & Pop Convenience Store in town is brewing thermoses of coffee & Hot Cocoa for the Search Team..... Talk about a small town pulling together. Amazing, when you stop & consider up until yesterday, 1/2 these people didn't even know what a "feral" cat was!!!   Not only has "Charity" found a home, I have too! I am PROUD to be part of such a small, close knit community! Will keep you all posted as events transpire!   I realize we all do not "share" the same beliefs concerning "religion, normally it's a "HOT" topic, much TOO debated to discuss, but PLEASE, put all the controversy aside, and put your faith together in whatever it takes to find Charity, safe & sound!!!   With Love, Patti   AND THE POSSE!!!!!
