I've had experience ++ with Roundworm infestation with my FelV+ Pekoe.  To make a long story short, we tried all the "usual" medications - Drontal tabs., Pyrapam tabs.  Our vet recommended Advantage Multi.  Since Pekoe had a severe Roundworm infestation, we had to give the Advantage Multi 3 times (once a month for 3 months) - no more Roundworms!!!  We followed up with a couple of stool samples, and he remains worm free!  The Advantage Multi is a topical parasiticide, and is administered on the skin at the nape of the neck.  It gets the adult worms that have already hatched, and apparently it also gets the eggs/larvae as well, which effectively breaks the cycle.  Pekoe had no adverse effects at all from this medication.   Marlene Pekoe & Angel Digby >^..^<
