Lynne,
I was just sending a LONG e-mail & my PC crashed!!  Da_n!!
I got out all my books & did lots of research....
It's late, I PROMISE to reply tomorrow.

One thing, definitely FINISH the antibiotics!!
Also, has there been a definitive diagnosis of cancer? Or can lymph nodes be swollen from severe infection???

As far as the arsenicum album, I use the 3X regiment...will explain.
Won'et hurt to give w/ the silica and Slippery Elm.

Also, write to  Felv-list asking for Liver Shake recipe and info. on Interferon, a GREAT drug for Felv+ cats.
Transfer Factor is good also. And, if you can not get Interferon (Very hard to obtain in US), Immuno-Reglan is great, available thru RevivalHealth.com
Try doing liguid diet before switching to raw food diet..
Also, try to get AD from allopathic vet, along w/ Nutrical.  Baby food meats (NO ONION) are also very palatible for cats.
SWwtch to Spring Water Only (Distilled water removes essential minerals)

Here's recipe for Slippery Elm Syrup:
In a small saucepan add 1/2 cup COLD water & one tspn. slippery elm powder.
Whisk.....Simmer, stirring constantly, til thickened.
Cool & refrigerate, (Will keep 7-8 days)

Anitra's Recipes:
High Calcium Chicken Broth
2-3 bs. chicken thighs
1 lb. chicken necks & backs
water to cover
1/4 Cup Tomato Juice
Put all chicken into pot to fill halfway, cover w/ enough water to bring it about 2-3 inches above chicken.
Cover pot loosely, simmer 3-5 hours.(May have to break up chicken & add water as needed.
Last hour, remove cover so almost ALL water cooks down
Pour off broth, cool at room temp. & refrigerate.
Meranwhile, pour cold water over chicken left in pot.
Let it cool, then SQUEEZE & KNEAD the chicken to get all the good stuff out of the meat.
The water will begin to look milky, this is the calcium.
Finally, wring all liquid out of the chicken.
LEAVE BONES& ALL CHICKEN & save  liquid. Once cooled, add to other chicken broth.
Next, put bones in smaller pot, crack them up, cover w/ter & add 1/4 cup tomato juice. Simmer 30-60 minutes.
Combine w/ other broth, divide into 2 cup portions & freeze what you won't be using right away.

I know, it sounds like a lot of work, but my "sick" guys LOVE it!!
My PC is trying to crash again, I will "overwhelm" you, I HOPE NOT, w/ more info. tom'w..

Hugs to Frodo,
Fondly,
Patti
PS  Write me off list so I don't "clog" up the board w/ ALL my info.
But, PLEASE USE the list for info. from other members..
Remember, ask for "Liver Shake Recipe" & info on Interferon!!
