I took her off it a few weeks ago because she started refusing to eat it, and to tell the truth the coughing started after that. I put her back on it yesterday and she is eating it again.  I put a call in to the vet to see what she thinks, and if she graded her heart murmer.   Lucy's surgery is scheduled for Monday. I did not find a source for the feline interferon. I actually did not follow up on the leads you sent me, I am not sure why. I think I was hoping she would not need the surgery, and generally felt overwhelmed.
