I have scheduled Bone's spay for Halloween day. She gets dropped off Sunday morning, and I pick her up Tuesday afternoon. I hope everything goes well... I'm taking her to the good vet, and paying their high fee ($140) when I could have taken her to the clinic for only $40. I think they will give her the extra special handling she requires... I don't trust the low cost clinic to be careful enough.... The vet I'm taking her to includes 3 days board and monitoring, and a pain patch for that price, plus I have made sure they know to place her on towels, and to be careful with her back. They have told me they will not stretch her out as usual, and will be extra careful in how they handle her.
