That's great news Ken. Good for you. I'm so pleased to hear
Max is still eating. (Mine stopped eating, and couldn't even be
assist-fed.)
Sending healing vibes to Max, and let us know how Tuesday goes
when you get time.
Max is lucky he has got such a loving & caring
"dad".
Kerry PS Yes, isn't this group just a great bunch of folks!

Subject: Hi
I want to thank you all again for the warm welcome the other day. Max is
still holding on, eating and we get and start the immuno-regulin on Tuesday
evening.. It's obvious he loves life and wants a chance and I'll do my best.
Originally it was hard to find a vet and I though i would have to do it sub-Q
but I finally convinced the vet that diagnosed him to try as there was nothing
to lose.
I think I mentioned in my previous post that I have one who
has been diabetic for 3 years. (Sneakers) Her life was saved by me learning
how to care for her from a different very active board. (feline diabetes.com)
Vets are not too sharp on treating diabetes or telling people what to do
to treat it correctly so it was people like you who took it on their own
to learn, research and teach others what to do. We have a very active board
over there.
We are having beautiful days this weekend and I have allowed Max to
go out under supervision so you can enjoy his time to the fullest. I
hope I can give you all a good report soon and I hope your babies are doing
well.
Ken
