Ringworm

Hi all,     I have a friend's kitty may have Ringworm. The kitty has a patch of fur missing on her ear. But she has also been treated for earmites. So is it possible that the hair may be from scratching? If it is ringworm what is the treatment for it. I'm sorry I haven't paid much attention to the prior posts regarding the treatment. Any information you supply would be helpful. I have always respected your suggestions and comments.
