Yes, kittens born with the virus are more likely to die at a younger age. 18 months seems to be the "magic" number for lots of them, I think many of us have lost several at that particular age, between 1 and 2 years old. As for the rest, I will leave others with more experience with cancer to answer that, my Moogie never got cancer.
