Thank, Tonya. I am worried that all the Baytril and food switches may have given her IBD.

The food situation is complicated. She had a really rare kind of bladder stone that there is no food for, though Hills has done studies that K/D and L/D seem to prevent reformation of them.  The Royal Canin S/O is for struvite and oxylate only, but I did try it with her before she had the stone out and we knew what it was, and it was switching her to that, actually, that started the diarrhea.  Patches gets it though, and you're right, they do like it.

I am supposed to check back with the vet within a few days. She told me to add a little G/D, which Lucy likes, but it does not seem to help the loose stool situation and may have made it worse.  The vet says Lucy is giving her gray hairs.

Michelle,

I have no experience with lymphoma, but my IBD experience has been that the cats have felt fine.  They just had loose stools, diarrhea, or even vomiting....

Has your vet come up with another food?  I think that would be the easiest thing to check out.  Bob had surgery for a bladderstone (oxcylate) and he has been on the Xd, and several others.  I recently switched them to royal canin that my vet carries that is supposed to be for oxcylate and struvite stones both.  I don't know about the type stone Lucy had.

Anyway, they LOVE this new food, and everyone (even those who didn't need it) has gained a bit of weight.  Different vets sell (and swear by) various prescription foods.  You might want to go for a second opinion?
