If you have a single flea, your cat can get tapeworms from it. Tape segments are white, 1/4-1/2 inch long when still moving. After they have dried, they look like grains of rice. They are notorious for NOT showing up in fecal samples. I had 3 cats with them in their stools and an hour later, all three showed clear on their fecals. The vet said that tapes are bad about not showing up when tested. Droncit clears them up.

When we did bloodwork this week on his annual checkup his liver enzymes
were a tad high... But, otherwise he got a clean bill of health from teh
vet.
