Yes, it's a great supplement also.
Do a "google" and you'll see how it is also use as an anti-spasmodic,
anti-bacterial and also as an immune system booster, among other things.
At the shelter, we used the goldenseal-echinacea tincture as a preventative
for our Felv and FIV cats when there were URIs running rampant......
It's a "Basic" for my First Aid kits.
