nina, i know what you mean about them disconnecting--i've often felt that their spirits were gone before their bodies quite let go; i've also seen them go into what looks like a meditative state, as if they were making all their own preparations, regardless of their humans or other companions. sometimes the cuddling and holding we want to give is for US, and it's just not what they are needing. they KNOW they are loved, and they KNOW that leaving this plane is just part of the cycle.... in those cases, i make sure that i hug them with white light and radiated love--chosing to believe that they WILL accept the vibration....
