Hi. When I first moved back to NJ a few months ago, someone emailed me a
recommendation for a vet in Washington Twp or Borough, which is sort of near
where I live. I would like to call that vet to make some inquiries, but I
can not find the information now and can not remember who it was. Whoever you
were, can you send me the name of the vet again?

P.S. What I am trying to find is a vet in my area who will give the Purevax
FeLV vaccine to my negative, Quincy. I want to update his FeLV shot, but not
with a shot that has a 2% chance of causing a vaccine-associated sarcoma like
most of them do. The Purevax is supposed to be safer, but none of the vets
in my immediate area carry the purevax FeLV vaccine or will order it for me.
Apparently you have to order a special kit that is expensive and the vet offices
do not think it is cost-effective because they do not think many people will ask
for this vaccine. Of course, if they told everyone that it has fewer VAS's, I
bet more people would be willing to pay a little extra for it.... Any ideas on
places in northern NJ that might carry it or be willing to order it? I will
switch Quincy's care to whatever vet office will get this for
me...
