Thank you for the happy update. Hopefully
any friction he might be tempted to feel for his new housemates will continue to
be overcome by the joy of being out of a cage for the first
significant amount of time in 2 1/2 months. He is truly a treasure of a
cat.
He came in as a stray so one of our volunteers
gave him that Federico name...in other words, please feel absolutely free to
change it to whatever you feel best suits him. How does that old saying
go...you can call me this, or you can call me that, just don't call me late for
dinner. I am so glad I caught the post lastnight and was in time to save him....What a great cat he is....I set him on the bed in the middle of everybody and everybody came by an sniffed and he meowed back...I had the isolation cage all ready but there didn't seem to be any hissing from anybody and he seemed anxious to come out....I opened his door and made him except a few pats from me before letting him free....He has been exploring and found and tried out all the esentials..He is a big talker and seems to be making friends with no problems after just an hour...I love it...Makes me shed a tear when I think how close he came to being just another one of those millions of just one too many....
