Amy, my mom's cat Arthur had something similar happen, as did my Snowball.
With both of them it was a blood clot due to heart problems. Arthur was old and
Snowball was FIV+, but I do not think that either factor necessarily had
anything to do with it. Some heart conditions just cause this to
happen. I think a tumor on the spine could as well.
I am so, so, so sorry. I have lost 3 to lymphoma as well, and I am panicked
my others have it whenever they do not seem quite right.
