RE: Rabies vaccine

Hi, I personally don’t – all of my vets (I have three) strongly recommend that I do not give the vac to FeLK kitties --- it compromise their immune system significantly, and it will risk trigger the illness by giving it – even with healthy ones, I have heard and seen some scary side effects of rabies vaccinations.  If the kitty is indoor kitty, the possibility of them getting rabies is close to none, so there really is not ANY reasons why they should get rabies vaccinations and risk their health for it.  As a matter fact, I don’t give any rabies to any of my kitties whether it is FelK positives or negatives.
