Belinda, my Buddy's blood work was normal for a long time even though he was wasting and was tired all the time.  Eventually he got anemic and his kidneys started failing. We never got a diagnosis, but I assumed lymphoma. The vet thought possibly dry form of FIP.  Corticosteroids (dex, depo) helped him feel better for a few months, but did not stop the progression of the disease, whatever it was.  I'm sorry. I hope that Bailey has something different and gets better soon.  Buddy's anemia certainly never got any better, even from the steroids, so maybe it is something different. Though we did not start Epogen until pretty near the end. Michelle
