Hey Nina,

Julie is 16.5 years old or so.  She'll be 17 this
summer.  Thanks for the well wishes Nina.  I think
Julie will be fine as long as she takes her
medication.  I am going to do more research on it.  I
know there is a surgery to remove the thyroid, or
maybe repair it, but we don't have the money for that
unfortunately.  Plus, I would be afraid to do it
considering her age.  Although she gets around
famously!
