I heard something about since epogen is
used under the condition where the body cannot produce any more red cell counts
on their own, once start relying on it, it will prevent them from producing red
cells on their own, therefore, you have to use it for the rest of their lives
---I think that’s what I learned from CRF support group, but I am not
100% sure –that’s why I am sort of hesitant about it… From:
