dmg for seizure control

Patti, I'd never heard of dmg being used as a substitute for seizure control.  I wish I had known about this when my beloved Angel Vixen was having to take that horrid Phenobarbatol!  It had such nasty side effects and every time I'd try to wean her off of it she'd have seizures. The only thing I'd add to the DMG discussion is that I've heard it's important to only give pure DMG with no excipients or binders.  I didn't even know it came in a liquid form.  Thanks again for all your helpful advice.
