Sheila,       I belonged to the CRF list that Belinda mentioned, for 4 yrs.  There's a wealth of good advice and information to be found there.  Our 16 yr. old Casper was diagnosed with CRF and we very successfully treated him with subQ fluids for over 4 yrs.  We also had to alter his diet - he was eating Waltham's Selected Protein with Chicken and Rice - which he did very well on.  I sincerely hope that Rudy will be able to overcome this.   Marlene Pekoe & Angel Digby
