I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's easy for me to tell you to try not to be angry. But maybe it was just her time to go. Try not to second guess yourself. It will drive you crazy.

I go the results back on Stinky's biopsy yesterday.
It showed that she had a bacterial infection. The vet
said that one of the complications from the infection
was that when she would eat the proteins were leaking
from her intestines. The lab wanted a stool sample to
let bacteria grow to see what the exact bacteria
infection was and then know exactly what type of
antibiotic to treat it with. It seems everything
happened so fast with Stinky. Now it is even more
frustrating to know that if she could have hung on a
few more days she might have made a recovery. I am
now in the anger phase. I am mad at myself and my
vet. I wish we would have done these test sooner but
it seems like she lost alot of weight after she had
her surgery to repair her fractured elbow the first of
January. I still don't know how she managed to
fracture her elbow. I miss her jumping into my lap
and making her biscuits. She use to do this little
thing with her lip and my husband & I would call it
her Elvis impersonation.
