The in house elisha test, although today I would have gone with a
PCR test, this tests the DNA and if they are negative and the test was
done correctly they are negative. It's a tricky test thought and must
be done correctly by a reputable lab. I had Joey, Bailey my positives
best buddy tested using it, if anyone were to get it from Bailey it
would be Hoey, he is negative. I have 6 cats, none have ever gotten it
from Bailey in 10 yrs.
