I give Bandy at least 500mg of lysine sprinkled on all his meals...I divide it among several meals through out the day so he gets at least 500 daily and sometimes alittle more..His eye specialist said keep giving that to him as it is good for the eyes...I don't really know how much he eats of it, but I always put it on the food..In several books that I have, that is the recommended dosage daily.
