Sherry, I had no idea that there were more than 200 cats in your care. I can only imagine how daunting a task it must be to try to keep so many healthy and happy. I do remember, I think it was Patti, talking about adding lysine to the water supply and that it did seem to have a beneficial effect on cutting down on symptoms in the sanctuary she served. Perhaps it's just the medium of email, but your response does sound a little defensive, please understand that I have nothing but the highest regard for anyone who puts themselves on the "front lines" of rescue the way you and your friends do. My questions come from a place of frustration. My personal philosophy drives me to look for the good in every situation, to strive to somehow turn adversity into prosperity, however impossible that may seem to be. I know that the concern and love you have for these kitties is vital and you'll never know how much I appreciate everything you do for them. I guess I was searching for ways that we on the list could be of some assistance to them as well. Inquiring about their care and desiring to share information was my ray of hope of joining you in your efforts to help them and all those stricken with felv. They and you are always in my prayers.
