We just had an incident here in Houston where a highschooler was bitten by a rabid bat...unfortunately, his family caught the signs too late and no one could do anything for him...he died a few weeks ago. It's been a nutty year...another woman was bitten by a bat last week and the news station ran a story about how it took her 2 or 3 days to get treatment as none of the emergency hospitals around here had the necessary vaccine/antidote! Scary stuff!
