Washington sounds great but I am going to NC because my oldest lives there and is getting married in august. My sister and her family live there so I want my son to have as much family around as possible. I have already contacted animal control and told them I was coming to help !
Well how cool is that!
My daughter used to live there (military) she said they need all the help they can get for the animals. There is such a great need for rescue of animals there. She has told me that many animals are purebreds that end up in the shelter because of the military. This really gets her going she has said as well that when she would rescue one or two another 4-5 would show up. She would call me heartbroken over this "it just doesn't stop Mom"
Her animals go where ever she goes whether it's here in the states or Europe. She has been in Europe I think 3 times. So her cats are definitely earned their million miles....LOL
I told her while ago that you were headed to NC. She was pleased to hear that and said they welcome you with open arms. Do let animal control know!
 
So anyway Karen do you plan on living there or just a long visit?
Either way I wish you lots of luck!
This would be great for your son to be around a lot of family members during this time. It would benefit him as well as you.
Well maybe another time for a trip to WA...LOL
So keep me informed of whats happening with you!

By the way I am resting and staying off my foot. I'm only on the computer an hour a day. So that is a lot of reading and responding...LMAO
Yes, I am addicted to the internet unfortunately. Afraid I might miss out on something or be able to help those in need...LOL
