Cindy,
I have never dealt with FeLV in kittens, but just wanted
to tell you I think it is wonderful, and absolutely the right thing, that you
are giving them a chance. There are positive cats on this list who have lived to
10 and older. They deserve a chance.
Some people swear that giving daily doses of vitamin c
can help cats turn negative, though there is nothing conclusive on this. I
would think that generally giving them immune supports during this time when
they might fight it off would be a good idea. There is a strong immune
system stimulant called Immuno-regulin (articles about it on our website, www.felineleukemia.org) which has
helped several cats on this list get over colds and infections and such.
There is no evidence that it can help cats or kittens turn negative, and I do
not even know if it can be dosed for kittens, but if I had kittens I would
probably look into this because it really does seem to be a strong immune
support.
Good luck and keep us posted, and I am sure others here will give you more
experience-based advice,
Michelle
