Hideyo, the head wobbling made me think of something. My friend's dog Gunnar had diarrhea, fever, inappetance, and then started having neurological symptoms. They did an MRI and spinal tap and it turned out to be encephalitis, which can be either bacterial or auto-immune. He is on both doxicycline and prednisone now and is doing better.
