LOL, this weekend I went out and got 2 room air conditioners at Best Buy for $100 each.  They're bare-bones (no thermostat, no reverse vent) but they do a great job and are surprisingly efficient, Energystar-wise.  One went in my bedroom window (hey, I was saving lives -- you don't want me not sleeping for 3 nights in a row) and the other went into the room where Patches is staying.  Poor guy had a fever anyway and the heat was horrible.   Diane R. But this is the best solution we have for him right now on such short notice. Do you know of anyone who can help us? We live in the Western part of Pennsylvania.
