haven't got up the nerve to find out what the pet taxi to airport via g'ment vet
wd cost--you have to be signed off by g'ment vet day you fly. Cheaper to go to
him/her in Des Plaines apparently than pay for him/her to come to airport. My
vet recommended Chiago Pet Chauffeurs who basically ferry you, your
luggage and animal(s) from home to Des Plaines and then to aiport.
Then
there's (doubtless) fees on entry, then ferrying of pets to wherever in
UK.
The
client my vet had had already gone back to UK so a large part of the cost was
the company who crated and sent the pets on their way.
Just
the thought of doing/paying for all this with 5 cats sends me into a spasm.
That's why I'm still here!

don't worry about it--i just found out about the quarantine being lifted
about two weeks ago--and it's been a couple of years! as kerry said, tho, you
really have to know well in advance and follow all the rules--you have to have
the blood tests taken six months BEFORE entry date, for example.....
i didn't know about the color of ink, tho! oy.
