Hi nina, my name is lori. I just lost my two precious angels. Kiko was a big white cat, very loveable just like an angel. He would have to hug you when he slept next to you. I remember when I would be sitting at my computer, he would come behind me and hug me, he would wrap his arms around my neck and kiss me. Yesterday I had to decide with my vets advice, whether I had to do the unthinkable. He said he was already suffering, I told him I loved him and asked my friend the vet assistant if she could be there for him to comfort him and she was. I could not handle it when I was there. Mickey was our beloved miniature schnauzer, he was the bravest little man you would ever see. He was comical, the cats and mickey would wrestle all the time. His favorite in the family was my mom, I know he loved us all but my mom was his love. He would let out a big cry when he would hear my mom arrive home. I miss them so much.

I'm sorry, I don't know your name,
What a terrible time you've had losing two fur Angels. We all know it never gets easier and "being prepared" doesn't help the way you think it might either. It doesn't matter how long or short our time together is, we're never ready to say goodbye. My condolences on your losses. Would you like to tell us something about Kiko and Mickey? Sometimes it helps to talk about what made them special as a sort of tribute to the love we share.

I too lost my cat today to feline leukemia, it was hard for kiko to breathe anymore, unfortunately we had to put him down. Also, my poor mickey oldest dog passed away yesterday at home in his sleep at the age of 13. It has been a horrible week, the worst I have had in a long time.
