Karen, Pale gums are often a good indicator of anemia.  Pet Tinic is an iron supplement (contains other vitamins and minerals) and it is used to treat symptoms of anemia but Mama Kitty cannot tolerate it.  My vet recommended vitamin B12 shots to help her since she wasn't able to take it when she was anemic.  The B12 shots help with their energy level.   elizabeth   In a message dated 8/22/2006 6:40:20 P.M.
