Hi Abby,

I'm sorry to hear about your kitten's diagnosis, but
this is the place for you to be for now. How old is
Bacardi (I'm assuming that's her name from the subject
line, but I wasn't sure whether it was that or if you
were just drinking a lot of Bacardi after getting her
diagnosis-hehe)? She may still throw off the virus.
I would immediately get her on a good diet, like
Innova Evo (slowly mixing it in with her old) and
start giving her Lysine, Vitamin C, and Interferon.
Others will give you good info. also. FeLV is not a
death sentence and there are many kitties that live a
long time with it. There are also others that do not
live long, and we have found that a good diet, good
supplements, and a stress-free environment are the
best things you can do for your FeLV kitten to combat
this. You may want to retest her in 3-6 months to see
if she throws off the virus. I also have a sick
kitty/general kitty care manual that I can email as an
attachment directly to you if you'd like. Just let me
know. You might be able to use it at work as well. I
gave it to my vet. If you have any further questions,
please ask away! Welcome to the group!

:)
