Thank you for answering me back. Smokey had been tested back in February and the vet told me the test came back as a strong positive for feline leukemia. I took him to the vet on Saturday and had him retested and had a cbc done on him. The test came back positive. The vet said it was in between strong and faint positive. Whatever that means. I told her that the first test came back as a strong positive. I changed vets after I found out Smokey was positive because my old vet was helping him. So this was the first time his new vet had tested him. He had a cbc done back in March with his new vet but we did another one on Saturday. The vet said his bloodwork really looked good. Everything was in the normal range. She didn't tell me the name of the test they used but it was all done in the vet's office.
