Lucy just had totally liquid stool with a clump of grass in it. When her
IBD (hopefully that is all it is and not lymphoma) gets worse, she wants to eat
grass, I assume because it makes her feel nauseous. She then gets liquid
diarrhea with grass in it. I don't know if the liquid diarrhea would come anyway
and she feels neauseous because of that and eats the grass, or if the grass is
what causes the diarrhea to get worse like that. Does anyone know if a cat with
IBD can get worse from eating grass, due to it being abrasive as it goes through
the intestines? Lucy's symptoms are mostly like that of colitis, so her problem
is in her large intestine.
Thanks,
Michelle
