RE: lump from injection site - dangerous?

When my sisters baby Minnion first got sick instead off hooking her to an IV the dr made a pouch on the top on her side. He said he body would absorb the fluid. Could the lump be fluid that you injected into her. Maybe it hasnt absorb? I hope you all are doing great and you are in my thoughts:) kayte and crackers
