Do you remember the name of the hotel? Gatlinburg is a lot of fun.

The trip is only about 1 1/2 hours. Katie has been on
2 trips with us before. She went with us to my father
in-laws in Nashville which is about a 4 hour drive and
she did fine. We kept her in the room we were staying
in. Also, we found a hotel in Gatlinburg which
allowed pets and we took her with us there. She is a
pretty laid back cat. As long as she is with us she
does good. I did talk to my vet about it.

It depends on how long the drive is. If it's a
REALLY
long drive, you have to weigh how much that would
stress her out versus being boarded. But if it were
me, considering she has to have those meds, I'd
probably take her with me. Just research ahead of
time the closest vet (and emergency vet) to you in
the
Smokies in case something unforseen happens. Have
fun! I'm envious!
