Ha! Kids say the darnedest things
:-) I babysat my friend's green headed amazon when I was quite a bit younger and more prone to dramatics. I thought this talkative, beautiful bird was so special and I did my best to make friends. He however did not feel the same way about me. He hung out on a perch near the kitchen sink and whenever I was doing dishes he'd swoop down on me and try to take a chunk out of my leg. My friend came home and discovered that her bird had learned a not so nice new word from his Auntie Nina. I heard from this friend (after more than 30 years) a couple of months ago.
